Hi!  My name is Jamie and I’m a bit of a geek.  Ok, I’m a massive geek.  Anything to do with technology, I have an interest in.  From computers and gadgets to science, space travel and beyond.  I wear stupid geek t-shirts just about everywhere and I’m constantly getting in trouble from my partner for too much “geek talk” as she puts it.  I like technology and I like coming up with cool ways that I can make use of it.

I am currently working as senior software engineer for special projects at a local accounting firm here in Canberra, Australia.  I am right now developing a cutting edge client focused data collection interface for lifetime cashflow projections.  Please don’t snore too loudly while reading that.  I’m also an avid photographer and have a mildly successful photography business.

Anywayz, this blog is just random thoughts and bit and pieces of geeky stuff that I pick up during my travels.  Hopefully some of it is useful to someone else besides me.
